Es el tercer acceso al barrio antiguamente conocido como Puerta de Tierra por ser el paso natural a tierra firme desde la isla de Cádiz. Construido en el siglo XIII, está compuesto por cuatro arcos, y formó parte del Castillo Medieval, las Carnicerías Reales y la Capilla de la Virgen de los Remedios, mandada construir por la familia de comerciantes Blanco en 1621.

It is the third access to the neighbourhood and was formerly known as Land's Gateway since it was the natural pathway to the mainland from the Island of Cadiz. Built in the 13th century, it is formed by four arches and was a part of the Medieval Castle, the royal butcher shop and the Virgin of the Remedies Chapel built by the traders Blanco family in 1621.
