Entre la Plaza Fray Félix y la Catedral se sitúa el yacimiento arqueológico más  rico en historia de la ciudad, ya que sus paredes albergan restos que datan de los primeros asentamientos fenicios, hace 3000 años, así como de las diferentes épocas posteriores; púnica, romana y medieval.

Between Fray Félix square and the New Catedral is located the richest archaeological deposit in town, due to the importance of its remains; from the first Phoenician settlement, 3000 years backwards, as well as other belonging to subsequent ages: punic, roman and medieval.
